Well, now that I reenrolled in college (it's been since 2005 and a nice major change) and have been going for a grand total of one day, I decided to stroll around the school library for a while. The second the Bamboo Fun Wacom tablet was in my vision, I WANTED IT. I HAD TO HAVE IT NOW. Of course, I couldn't have it right then, being that the onl place I could hide it was in my pants, and you try to explain why such a large hard object is in your pants when you are a woman.
So I drove home and begged my husband for it, and we went today to go get it. When we arrived, they were all gone! My brain started panicking but the clerk there had more in the back! And, they had it in black. My heart a-flutter, I took my wacom tablet home with me, and after watching a movie and playing an online game with my husband and my best friend, I finally used it. Just to be reminded of how much my drawing sucks. But the good thing is how much it will help me with photography and the postwork on my 3D images.
I didn't play with it too much, and it takes a bit to get used to, but it is definitely worth it. Plus the $10 discount in the store was a plus as well (about $89 total).

Does she just not pay them or is she on deferment? I had to do that with mine, since that way it is deferred for a whole year and it is so much easier since I believe they can garnish your wages for it. Not exactly sure but I think the UofU here did that to my dad.
I went on economic deferment since I had no job, no source of income, and am in vocational rehab. I just had to fill out some papers but it puts the deferment for a bit longer.

I'm getting close to 27 now, and just barely able to sort things out. I'm in voc rehab for my disabilities, and barely trying to get through college. I know exactly how it is since it took me a long time to find out what I wanted, and I still question whether it is right for me. Heck, I know people in their 40's and 50's who still have no clue what they want. But since she has you, that will help so much.
Derrick's mom never encouraged him either, and it makes me so mad when people do that! Don't people understand that they are holding someone's future in their hands?
Keep encouraging her to reply to the letters. They are very good about deferment, and it will get them off her ass for a while.
